The issue is that individuals will frame this video as a debate between capitalism and socialism, but the matter is significantly more complex. In essence, we operate under a mixed economy; however, many of these cash transfer programs reduce the spending required by government initiatives, allowing for more funds to be allocated to markets. The reason is that there is less expenditure, as these programs provide significantly greater efficiency for the allocated funds in comparison to many other governmental programs. Cash transfers, in many ways, are more capitalistic as they represent a market-based approach to addressing poverty by equipping individuals with the tools needed to engage in the marketplace.

All of you are blaming "the system" for these people's hardships. People can and do make poor choices. Capitalism isn't the problem. People are the problem. Nearly half of Americans are below literacy level 3. Add to that 70% of Americans do not have a degree and it is easy to see why so many suffer.
