1080p is where the 7800x3d shines. 1440p is okay. But 4k is generally GPU bound in all scenarios. If you game on a 1080p 360Hz the 7800x3d makes sense. If you game at 4k go with the microcenter 7700x bundle. It is such a ridiculous value. Then buy an open box or used GPU. You’ll have a beast of a system for right at or just over 1000 dollars. Minus case and PSU.

It really boils down to the games that you play if the extra cash is actually going to make a difference. You might be better off saving $220 and getting yourself a 7600, then spending the extra cash on the next tier GPU.

I was worried about the difference in professional software, but since it was much smaller than I expected my final choice is 7800x3d

If you play at 1440p just get a cheaper CPU and better GPU. the 3D chips are only noticeable at 1080p

Theoretically you can get a 7700x over clock it slightly and get better results then a stock 7800x3d

please show the 1% low if you can, these 3d chip aren't worth it to get ~10 more fps when you already over 200. But if they can fix up 1% low it'd be worth

Using the fastest graphics card is not f___ing interesting. The differences disappear automatically with "slower" (still crazy fast and expensive) graphics cards. And it is only interesting to show a graph of those changes.
Showing the fastest graphics card performance is always only the first layer of a benchmark that should immediately be followed by relevant benchmarks... I am obviously talking in a general sense, this random little video is just one of many examples.

I have 7 7700 non x and 4070 and I only play 4k was going to upgrade to 7800x3d but I thinking of selling my 4070 that's not that old getting a ti super or 4080 hell if I can sell my wife I get 4090 lol😅😅😅
