This is actually a really good video to see. Something that some ppl seem to be missing in the comments is that this is demonstrating how, without the behemoth that the 4090 is, the high end cpus end up being bottlenecked by the gpu, so, unless you want the best of thr best, or maybe plan on upgrading later, you don't really need the 7800x3d

Great video!! We need more tests like these. its always 4090 at 1080p in the lowest settings. We need more practical test with settings and resolution that we actually game on.. and gpus we can afford 😄

bro, it's a huge respect for u to include TWWH 3 - rarely do we see this game in benchmarks but due to it's specifics about multiple units - nice to se a bench for it on CPUs :)

UPD frankly I thought that the difference would be about 20-30% for CPU from 7500f to 800x3d

Awesome informative video. People commenting about not using the correct settings don't know what this video is really trying to show, which is - "If you are a casual gamer with mid range GPU, then maxing out on an overpriced CPU for some theoretical % gain (that too with a monster GPU like 4090) is not really worth it". Perfect. This is the exact components that im planning to buy. Combination of 4070S + either R5 7500F or R7 7800x3d.
I saw another video where R7 7800x3d gives 31% more fps average on 20+games but he was using a 4090 so I think that was just cpu bottleneck.
I just need a 4070S and it seems like using either of the CPUs give more or less same fps

a 7800X3D with a 4070 or lower is not the gaming champ those 4090 testers will have you think. I am returning the 7800X3D i thought was an "upgrade" and sticking with my 7500F. Not because of this video but cuz 4070 and not 4090.

Thank you, I Love you Man, it saved my money, since I had seen enough tests with the 4090, and wanted to take the my 7500f at 7800x3d, which also wildly rose in price to $450, and I have a 4070 ti, thank God you are the author!! Of course, happiness is not in money and there is something more important than money, but we live in the material world.

Could you do the same comparison with a 7900 XT? It's about the same price but significantly more performance here, it's interesting to see if you get any benefit of the X3D at 1440p with that GPU
