In other words, 7900x is good enough for 1440p 144 Hz gaming. It's significantly better at compiling C++, so presumably it'll be much better at compiling Rust, too. And it goes for about $100 cheaper where I live. Yep, I'm getting the 7900x.

personally i do modelling / rendering / photoshop and playing all in 4K .. so defenitely R9 7900x is my choise

If you play at 4K on every game go for the 7900x if you don’t 7800x3d is the preferable choice.

The answer in all of these videos seems to be - unless you game in 1080p, the 7900x is better in every way. (I understand why tests are done at 1080p, it's just a completely irrelevant use case scenario for anyone that isn't a 1337 27 inch 4:3 720p monitor gamer, and it's refreshing to see some results that actually matter in 2k and 4k showing that for me, as a 4k gamer, a 7800x3d is irrelevant and I'm better off just getting a CPU that excels where the 7800 doesn't)

which one is better for streaming games to twitch? and having multiple programs open or is there any real differnce. would i be safe going with the 7800x3d or the 7900 for more cores since im streaming?
