Could A Giant Magnet Like This Help Power The World?

Picture a building in Poway as big as an airplane hangar, with a General Atomics sign out front. What do you think they're making inside? Military drones would be a good guess. But in at least one of those facilities, you won't find any drones, just parts for a magnet. KPBS science reporter David Wagner says that magnet's job is to make good on the promise of nuclear fusion.
