I just killed the Elder for the first time ever and man was it a long fight
I figured out the pillars pretty quickly but even tho a cleared every mob camp nearby I didnt know hoe to spawn proof them
The fight extended into the night when I had about 1/4 - 1/3 hp left to the boss and the greybeards *SWARMED ME* from everywhere
Good thing I had enough arrows to kite them while also keeping agro on the boss (I noticed he healed if I was not attacking him tho I dont know if it was just that one healer greyling or if he just does that when not aggroed)
Somehow I emerged victorious at dawn after dealing with couple dozen adds and the Boss itself.

Make sure you build walls and a chimney on the edge of that underground base. Your house is filling up with smoke

on mine. instead of running away when hes close, equip any melee and doodge the stomp then do an attack. when he summon tentacles, thats the time u wanna run away for same pillars

the elder is the main farmbot for you. grab a good drink and kite the tentacles for an hour or 2. Mats for days!

I just bait him to the edge of black forest biome and somehow he stuck between meadow and black forest. Its easier to fight him in meadow plain area.

The grass turned off always looks weird. I guess you have yours turned off to save performance?

How do you get the fine wood bow? Doesn’t fine wood come from Birch trees? I have that wood. I wonder why I can’t make the bow. I mean, I have no opinion to do so in workbench or the forge.
