Ok for all that maybe wondering if you can sub shortening for additional butter..the answer is YES!! They are a cross between Golden Corral rolls and buttermilk biscuits🤤. I made them and they were light, fluffy and absolutely delicious!! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe, my family enjoyed them!!

My auntie use to make these and now I know what they're called. They taste exactly like a cross between a dinner roll and a traditional biscuit. I'm gonna give these a try.

Oh my goodness...when you were placing those jewels into your cloth covered basket. I kid you NOT! Before I knew what was happening I felt myself al.ost REACHING for that one biscuit laying on the table...actually my mouth WATERING to take that bite you pushed right up into the eye of your camera.
I am 80 years and an not remember that EVER happening to me before.
Needless to say...I WILL be making these Angel biscuits for sure.
