Game is so unrealistic. You expect me to believe that there are no guns available in every building in 1980's Texas?

I initially wrote this one off because I'm just not into side scrollers but after watching your vid I have got to say Fooster, PLEASE make this a series when it releases. I've got to see you escape the Day Of The Dead! Definitely waiting for your vid on the final game and wishlisted it for myself

These noises make 80% of the game
I‘m sitting in tram right now and getting chills with AirPods 😂

I'm not big on watching side-scrollers but I like the atmosphere of this one. Plus you're playing it, so naturally it's a legend.

When you thought you were stuck at the top of the ladder you weren’t. You could actually climb up that next part and run-jump over to find another survivor to take into your team 😅.

For any not in the know:

The 1st "Into The Dead" game was a endless runner mobile game. The player was stuck in first person and had to dodge zombies, trees, and other obstacles. You would pick up weapons along your way, but your character never stops until he died. But you had a set number of lives.

It was the only mobile game I was a bit addicted to. It was fun, intense, and frustrating all at the same time. Unlocks included more powerful weapons and dog companions to help clear your way.

Cool game, but the paper weapons are a deal braker for me. I dislike getting technical but, I hate when a crowbar, axe, hatchet made usually from low/medium carbon steel (strong AF) breaks in like 2-3 uses in a game. Those tools last generations with proper care (Crowbar needs no care whatsoever). Scissors could make some sense, even a Knife. In my Opinion making stronger weapons more rare would be a good compromise.

I once heard that in most movies and tv-shows the term "zombie" doesn't exist, because in these universes there never was a zombie- relative media. They literally do not know what that would be. I sadly forgot where I've read or heard about this.

One of the things that always bugs me in zombie media is how quickly the military is defeated, or how “useless” they are. The only thing I’ve seen that really captures this well was the book world war Z, due to how realistically the military acts and how their leadership is. The military would absolutely not be defeated in a handful of days by a bunch of stupid slow zombies.

you miss a lot of items on the Red Room and a Survivor on the Church, you can get up to that Scaffolding and go all the way back to the Bell and you'll find a survivor there.

I get you had limited backpack space but you passed by searchable stuff that made my eye twitch lol

if it isnt a potential shelter, always go for minimum kills.
no need to loot the shalters u plan on moving into.
when you hide in stairs, u dont have to kill the zombie just let him go through the door u opened and close it behind him. you will use that alot
Use loud weapons outside and use the silent blade inside for max usability.
always close doors behind u to minimise noise during kills.
being detected starts with an audio cue, you can still get out of detection range before the audio ends.
whenever there is a room with hiding spots it means you dont have to kill it and u can simply avoid it and lock the zombie out after he passes.
every location you scavange has 2 exists, and sometimes a secret that unlock a hiden loot stash.
sleeping zombies wont attack as long as u keep crouch
in some cases you can lead the zombies to follow you and jump out after you from a window while you stay dangled.
to be able to hide behind an obstacle crouching isnt enough to hide you, you need to touch the obstacle.
guns are cool but arent worth the effort, blade are chaper to craft and more effective.
some shelters have special features, like water filtering or garden, use them
if a character is hungry just let him eat out while scavenging so u dont waste a phase just for cooking, also saves you bag pack slots during runs.
darrel can eat bad food even dog food, but it lowers his moral if done alot.
not every survivor you meet is worth recruiting, but they can be used as disposable scouts.
some maps need 2 or 3 trips to be fully looted.
all these tips will help you deal with more complex maps like police and fire stations
