Mojang Is Working On A NEW Minecraft Game

Minecraft Bedrock is the same as Minecraft for Xbox One, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Windows 10, Windows 11, iOS/Android (Pocket Edition), and Chromebook.

I hope that Mojang will actually put more effort this time and instead of making a mojang skin on an older genre they’ll make a game that yet again encourages creativity

If you think about it, Minecraft spin-offs have had a pattern in terms of their success. Story mode was successful, earth wasn’t. Dungeons was successful, legends wasn’t. Hope we keep this pattern and the next one will be great!

I think that the best possible Minecraft spin-off that they should do would be "Minecraft Campaign Mode" where you play an RPG type adventure within Minecraft where you play actual Minecraft but with very specific goals for each chapter of the campaign. It would be part Modded Adventure Map, part guided tour/tutorial, part Zelda, part Age of Empires/Age of Mythology, but the essence of it would be that you are still playing Minecraft.

its definitely going to be a minecraft card game. Whether it be a rogue deck builder or a generic collect and battle, it only makes sense to me based on the genres they've chosen and the style. You have to imagine it'd be the last thing anyone wants.

I hope one day Mojang manages to get there hands on minecraft story mode I would love to play that game again even if I have to buy it over again.

I think that a town/civilization building game in the mc universe would be fire, Think something in between coc and cities skylines, complete with all the mechanics of minecraft.

Im a little sad that their resources are being stretched to more and more stuff, while leaving minecraft itself in a weird state of updates

It's unlikely to happen, but a puzzle horror game based around Minecraft might just work

I think by new experiences maybe they mean like a movie or a tv show. There’s not many other genres Minecraft can really branch out into at this point

Mojang's mentality is literally just "discontinue the stuff everyone likes" and "make some new crap that's a copy of it."

I think a really good spin-off idea for Minecraft is a paper mario/ pokemon game in the style of the Minecraft live videos. I just want to play as tiny jeb and be one of the tinies!

Considering how insanely profitable the Pokemon Trading Card Game is, it would actually be a potentially good idea for Mojang to make a card-based Minecraft spin-off, with an irl trading card version to go with it... Then again, if it flopped like Legends did that would be a lot of extra cost sunk into making real life cards.

As fun as it is to joke about that one Nintendo Direct where they announced like ten different farming games, I do actually think a Minecraft spin-off farming game in the style of Stardew Valley or Harvest Moon would be a lot of fun. Minecraft can already be a pretty chill game, but a farming spin-off would really be able to go all-in on that. It would also give us so many more crops that could possibly be added to the base game in the future.

I would love to see them release a “Minecraft 2” which takes a different perspective on what it means to be Minecraft. It might approach a more hytale style, not limited by what is “Minecrafty”. Minecraft today tries to focus on all aspects of the game like redstone, servers, authenticity, simplicity, commands, etc..(which I respect) But to see another game that focuses on what minecraft is at heart (building, survival, adventure) I’m sure they could make something great. Especially without the “minecrafty” limits. One great example is that Minecraft today would never make a “no building zone” if it were some sort of boss fight, but in the Minecraft 2 they would have the freedom to do that as the games focus is shifted and it won’t ruin the charm of original Minecraft.

It would be funny if they announced that they are stopping Java edition too and then they use all that staff that are not working on anything to purely focus on the end. That may be the only way to get an end update
