A day after the National Testing Agency said that it would reconduct the NEET-UG 2024 examination for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks on June 23, aspirants continued to push for their remaining demands, with some marching to the Education Ministry asking for a retest.

As Congress leaders also pointed out that grace marks were not the only issue with NEET 2024, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that the NTA was committed to taking necessary action, following Supreme Court instructions, adding that the counselling process will be underway soon. NEET is the sole entrance test for undergraduate medical programmes in India.

The students from remaining states has put up all their effort for the past two years to prepare for this test. All their efforts come to end and got their results and starts their relaxation period. By this time going back to the same stress and going through the same topic will feel exhausted for even good learning students.

Try to identify the states where all fraud happens, punish them. Let rank be given for other students. It is seen that students scoring very less mark in public got more marks in Neet due to scam. So the AIR rank can be prepared by adding public rank and neet mark for a total of 920 marks. So that talented students can come front.

ReNEET is okay. But NEET should continue. Change format to computerised random question tests like CAT.

First of all, there should be a whole evaluation and investigation of this creepy crime and punish the culprits. The students involved in the cheating and paper leaks should be penalized. This all shows the downtrodden education system in India especially its exam conducting agencies. These agencies donot consider the efforts and sacrifcies these students make to score these good marks. Shame on India Education System! 😡
