SC On NEET 2024 | Supreme Court Reprimands NTA Amid NEET Row: 'If There's Even 0.001% Negligence...'

NEET Latest Update | Amid concerns about the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET) for admission into medical colleges, the Supreme Court today came down heavily on the National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts the nationwide exam for medical college aspirants. "If there's even 0.001% negligence, it should be dealt with," the Supreme Court said. The next hearing will be held on July 8. Last week, the NTA told the Supreme Court that grace marks given to 1,563 candidates in the NEET-UG exam would be scrapped and the candidates had the option of taking the exam again on June 23. The results of the re-test will be declared before June 30, the top court was told.

If any of these candidates chose to not take the re-test, their earlier score would be reinstated without the extra marks.

We want harsh action against NTA. Something that is an examplary message. This case is being followed by the international companies and governments, to ascertain whether we are going to continue to have high standards of government college medical students . Whether the quality of doctors in India will be good enough to be hired. A massive injustice have happened. Take action SC court or we will lose our position in the world as quality doctor and engineer makers.
Those who are rich can still go abroad and attain necessary qualifications but for intelligent students from poor backgrounds will lose their chances completely.
SC take action now so even government can understand it’s negligence.
Take action against NTE and paper leak gangs, so they will thinks multiple times before jeopardising our nations most valuable assets.
If you let this go tomorrow IIT, ISRO they will all fall.
Don’t do slap on the wrist and only speech justice like done for SBI in electoral bond.
