Hi Everyone!
Today we have a video for those looking to buy a new turntable. What to look for and what spending more might (or might not) get you. There's a lot to learn about different turntables and it definitely pays to get them set up right. Our turntables are set up for you when you buy them and we provide full support to keep them running their best.

It might be a little technical for beginners, but the quality of the platter main bearing is the key. A turntable can't be quiet without quality here and is largely the determining factor of sonic performance, excluding the arm.

That extra output and volume of the 2M Bronze could also be playing a part in that exaggerated scale of the musician. Great video.

Yet again, a great incite into how turntables work.... I'm currently listening to a Systemdek XXII turntable with a Roksan Tabriz tonearm and acrylic soundstage is really good and I really love it. Please keep up the good work and it's great to hear your music choices (The Wall is a fantastic sounding album.)

Yeah but they sound different cause of the cartridge. 95 percent of sound is that! I bet you put the same cartridge on all three turntables, you would barely notice a difference.

The best turntables are early 1980s direct drive automatics like the Technics SL-D3. They tend to have better signal to noise ratios than even higher end hifi turntables available new, and are quite cheap, as in, available in perfect working condition for well under 200 quid.
