I don't know if you would ever consider doing this but I would absolutely love a video that helps people build a vinyl setup on a specific budget. Something that a new collector like me with a limited budget could put together and get pretty great outcomes with. For example your most recommended setup for $500.

It's worth noting that the Audio Technica LP60 line *does* use a counterweighting system: it has a spring hidden in the base that holds the tone arm at tension and prevents the stylus from digging too hard into the record grooves,

I am proud to say that I have gotten into vinyl!! I started this past Christmas with a Sony PS-LX2 from 1981. I think it sounds really good and that vinyl is DEFINITELY worth the hype!!

I've had my LP60X since March or so and I love it. Sound wise, I recently upgraded from the AT BT speaker it came with to a Vizio soundbar that I got for my TV, which I use an AUX cord to connect to the sound bar from the record player. It's been real nice so far.

I'm planning to start my vinyl collection by 2022 (next year). I've been watching your channel for nearly 3 years now. I've learned a lot from you since then.

Keep it up Jared!
Fan greetings from the Philippines!

2:20 It will NOT carve up the grooves, just wear them out slightly quicker. Every time you play a record you technically wear it out, tracking force just makes that process a bit faster but it takes around 50-100 plays before you might notice the increase in surface noise (and most of us dont play records that many times). Records were designed to handle up to around 6 grams of tracking force and most Crosleys and similar turntables with the red ceramic Chuo Denshi cartridge track a little bit under 6 grams which is acceptable for the cartridge.
Most second hand records have been played on turntables that tracked much heavier than modern turntables and they sound fine, unless they have scratches of course (or other groove damage from a defective or damaged/worn out stylus)

Despite my being 46 years old; I started out on cassettes and am new to vinyl in my own listening setup. Bought the Audio Technica lp120x, upgraded cork mat. Connected to a Teac headphone amp with a pair of Samson open back headphones. Great sound! I’ve recommended Jarrett’s Channel to newcomers.

I hope you're an educator outside of YouTube. Your simplification of things and how you explain things is great. Not everyone has that ability.

I'm a dedicated user and lover of the Stanton T.62 and Stanton T.92 turntables for over 10 years, they've meant a lot to me

I just got my first vinyl album today (Ghost's Rite Here Rite Now soundtrack) and needed to figure out what to look for in a turntable quickly. This helped a ton! I'm hoping to start collecting vinyl albums now!!!

I recently took out my Technics sl-qd22 turntable out of the closet after 20+ years. After having to fiddle with the tonearm to get it working correctly, and putting on a new stylus, I listened to a new stereo remastered Beatles white album. Wow, I was blown away at how good it sounded. Now I'm into vinyl again after so many years. I want to get a new turntable and it's between the AT lp140xp or the Fluance rt85. They are the same price and I'm leaning towards the Fluance. I have a Pioneer VSX-406 a/v receiver with phono input with a set of older Alesis monitor one reference speakers that still sound fantastic. I must say that the Technics SL-QD2 runs extremely quiet so I'll keep it in my computer/home studio room and put the new turntable in my family room where I currently have a 5.1 surround setup.

I’ve been buying and playing vinyl for years but always appreciate your videos because I learn new things. A better way to convert vinyl to digital, is use a higher quality A-D/D-A converter. I use a Fluance turntable with a Ortofon 2M Bronze Korg AD/DA converter that converts to high-res digital (as well as DSD) and sounds amazing.

I absolutely love my Sony PS-LX300USB. was worth all $100 I paid for it. Amazing quality and brilliant sound.

Great review mate. After many years of buying turntables, my present unit consists of a Pro-Ject 6 Perspex magnetic suspension turntable fitted with a Hadcock GH 242 unipivot tonearm and a Denon DL 110 high output moving coil cartridge. This combination works very well with arm/cartridge fundamental resonant frequency of 10.5 HZ. Total cost about $ 2, 000 AU

I’m inheriting some vinyl records and I’m shopping for my first turntable! (Besides from childhood) so this is exactly what I needed today! Thank you!! 😁

The cool thing about the Fluance being all wood and gives better sound is literally the reason why Guitars are made of wood. Some have tried metal guitars or plastic guitars but they don’t sound the same at all. So as a guitarist I like the Fluance, it’s like a turntable take of a guitar

You’ve been a big help a while back when I was getting into Vinyl collecting. I have the AT-LP60X and it stills sounds amazing with the monitors I have. I have such an amazing collection of about 30 Vinyls and still hunting down some hidden treasures. Thank you Vinyl Eyezz for putting out some quality content. Wish you happy holidays.

Thank you for all the video’s you’ve done! I bought (but won’t ship until Jan 2022) my first turntable (AT LP-60X) and learning all the right things to do.
