Great video - I need to set it up again but I swear I got a WiiU and a Wii to play Gamecube local multiplayer games together (Kirbys Air Ride) through the Virtual Broadband Adapter in Nintendont and with a tv for each console. Really amazing how more unfolds from these consoles over the years

I have a 2TB Western Digital external hard drive with a Y splitter that is only formatted for the Wii U. I didn't know you would need a second external hard drive for the vWii. So i just ended up putting a couple of my GameCube backups on the SD card. I wasn't considering modding the vWii but then I thought what the heck, I'll do it. And I did it.

You helped me hack my wii u. I just found a way to download games with the key codes for Wii/GameCube. The game can be installed on SD card and then install on Wii u through nuspli. The game will appear and once you click on game it will find nintendont on its own without you manually going through nintendont. The two games I downloaded also let me use Wii u console to control. If youd like me to explain so you can make a video that be no worries. Be my way of saying thanks. You also don't have to set all the names to game iso for the system to accept

I have a Nintendo GameCube controller adapter but it's the one that was sold for Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I also have a Nyko brand adapter that I bought because there weren't any of the official ones. I actually tried using my Nyko brand adapter with Nintendont but it didn't work. Then I tried the official brand which was successful! Speaking of GameCube games, there's also a program called Wii U VC injector which allows you to convert a Wii or GameCube game to a Virtual Console game. That is AWESOME, especially since the Wii U never had GameCube games for the Virtual Console. And with Smash 4 out, and the GameCube controller adapter, it would have been great to play other games with that controller but unfortunately it was only compatible with Smash 4

Just got a wii u deluxe CIB for 100 bucks. Everything is there and the box is pristine. Id say I did well. Never had a wii u but I did enjoy my Wii back in the day. Hyped to play wii games again on my HD TV. Being able to play gamecube and 3DS is a plus too.

I was going to come on here and chekc out the video and offer the Mayflash device advice, and nice tro see you already covered it. I had this problewm, when I did it, I did not know. I ordered a random brand adapter and yes, you are veru right it did not work with Nintendon't. I fif not try it but some of the internet was saying the official Nintendo one would work too, but I never tested this as they were not available so only expenesive used. SO I returned and got a Mayflash adapter and it is perfect, works on Dolphion pc and works on WiiU very nicelyt. There is nothing more awesome than playinghg with real DK bongos on a WiiU!

Hmm, I still have my GameCube, and my Wii(that still plays GameCube games). Not sure if I wanna mess with my WiiU to try this. Sounds interesting tho.
