Genius! I was born in 1952 and rarely go out so I thought I may not find a fancy and easy hairstyle to look forward to doing while waiting forever to grow my hair long again. Perhaps I COULD wear my hair so pretty like this, not get a headache and wind up cutting my hair again. Top tip: always pull out the face framing pieces at the start when you’re first pulling the hair back. Helps to avoid taking too much or regretting it at the end once the hair is fully finished!

I had to try this hairstyle only twice before I got it perfected, and let me tell you it feels so secure when I’m used to my hair flying around everywhere. My hair is so annoying to style myself, it’s long, coarse and thick which makes it really hard to create updos that last all day and night. HI Lainey I am very traumatised soul and one of many burdens is not knowing how to style up my very Indian, Black, Frizzy, Ugly, Boring, Curly hair! I tried this to the best of my ability with a few alterations but no matter what it looks like I am keeping it as it because I have no energy in my Fibromyalgia ridden body to lift my arms any further . You have completely blown my brain with this tutorial my lovely! I’m a zero-maintenance girl (see pic 😬)I cant even blow dry my hair, and it’s ponytail or pony rolled into a sort of bun-that my hair skills. I have always been able to do makeup like a MUA, but when it comes to hair i was not as blessed. I did this style three times already and had so many compliments. You are my hero! I have horrible frizzy, dry, rebellious hair so I always wind up braiding it because I can't think of anything else to do with it. I'm a housekeeper and landscaper so my braids often get in the way when I'm working. I've tried to put it in a bun but it always falls out. This works a treat on my knee length hair, and is now my go to updo.

It's my go to for getting hair up and back for my theatre company, too.

It works modified as well. Without the two bobbles, with all the hair flipped, only part of it woven in to leave a section down, pulling it all though one side then the other... I could go on.

Knee length, curly hair... up fancy enough for black tie awards nights in a few minutes with one bobbles and a couple of pins. Total game changer!!
