This is how i always put up my hair, and if you wrap the hairtie around once or twice (depending on how loose the hair tie is) as if you were just putting it in a normal ponytail and then do this it's more stable, hope that made sense

I’ve tried this and as a person with longer hair that’s super thick, it’s a nightmare to take this hairstyle down because the hair gets entwined with the hair tie when you twirl it around like that.
