There are Inuits living in the arctic that never have eaten a fruit in their lives.

The best carnivore example I know is Rick Rodriguez, the carnivore who has been a carnivore for the past 40 years.

Perfect video Dr. Berry! Quick to the point! We have Maggie White who has done Carnivore for 65+ years and no health issues at all. In fact she is age 82, but looks 60 and works 14+ hours on her ranch daily, very active!

Hope you invite her on your channel for an interview. ☺️ I know Kerry from Homesteadhow is visiting her to film her for the carnivore documentary. And she has done an interview with Dr. Chaffee which was great. But hope to see you and Dr. Baker also interview her soon. The more channels she is on the more people will see her amazing story on being a 65+ year carnivore veteran and the health benefits!

I've been on carnivore for 5-6 months. My dry skin and dandruff is gone. Skin feels softer, hair is thicker and testosterone is up.

I had trouble letting go of my worry about vitamin C on carnivore for the longest time. I’m over it now. I learned that we need to consume vitamin C only if we are eating carbs.

I’m 76 and noticed I grew muscle tone after going mostly meat 🥩, I do eat a few other things but porterhouse and butter are my favorite.

The thing is, without all those carbs, the need for vitamin C is a lot lower. However the if you do slip and eat or drink something with sugar, you'll be deficient in minutes.

I was carnivore for almost 2 years when I i started experiencing bleeding gums and severe bruising. Started supplementing vitamin C and it went away. I'm still carnivore over 3.5yrs now and thriving with vitamin C supplements. I also have Ehlers-Danlos syndrome so that mau have something to do with it.

I blend unpeeled lemons every day for my c vitamin and the other awesome benefits. Make a great drink with a cup blueberries and 2T organic flax meal.😋 My carnivore diet/ 16hr daily fast is going great. I've lost 48 lbs in 7 months. My doctor says my blood work looked like a healthy 50 yo... I'm 72 and feel great. Thanks Dr B

A carnivore diet should include liver, bone marrow, kidney and heart to get adequate amounts of copper, magnesium, vitamin C.

Heart muscle has the highest levels of magnesium of any part of the body.

RibeyeRach did a ton of healing on a strict carnivore diet for like 1 year. Many things had improved but she had hit a plateau. She had her vitamin C level checked and it was very low. She has since began supplementing with a whole food vitamin C supplement and says it opened up more healing for her and she is feeling even better now. She mentions how lack of vitamin C could have been causing/contributing to all
of her histamine food reactions. Says the vitamin C is helping a lot with the histamine intolerance reactions. She has been very chronically ill with EDS for years. I am also chronically ill with ME/CFS. I think some of us need to explore other options if a year of strict carnivore isn’t enough.

Pardon me Dr. Berry but meat always made me sick for years. Recently tried a plant based diet and very quickly I improved dramatically. Stopped my blood pressure meds, normal BP, lost belly fat, hip pain gone, walking normal again even though orthopedic surgeon said I needed hip replacement. Stopped hair loss. Fuller hair😅 I do eat some wild caught fish. But predominantly plant based. Will never go back to meat. My life and health has improved to levels I can't believe were possible again since I'm a 68 yr old great grandma. I dance and look in my 40s people say. One size certainly does not fit all. Even in what we eat. Food is medicine indeed! Just a personal FYI.❤😊 Thanks.

But HEATING destroys vitamin C. Is the vitamin C available only to those people who are eating meat prepared rare?

My gums started pulling away, arm hairs went curly, mysterious bruises. I may have something underlying that made me c deficient. I have been doing meat heavy keto 6 years. Was fixed in 2 weeks. I have bern staying fine by adding bell pepper and tomato and broccoli a few times a week. Not sure what's wrong with my bod lol😅

One of my issues with the carnivore diet is that, not only is there little to no vitamin C, but also that vitamin C is broken down during cooking, with longer cooking times destroying more vitamin C.

Meat is almost always cooked before consumption, with some cuts being stewed for long periods of time to make them tender. And if you're only eating meat, you should obviously cook it to avoid the disease risk, but that does mean that whatever vitamin C was in the meat before is likely completely gone.

Dr Berry I hope you see this comment

I'm very very sensitive and it's been 1 month strict carnivore meat salt water

Now I slept a night in my old grandpa house that we haven't gone to since like 1 year
we ofc cleaned the house and bed rooms just by removing dust from it and old sheets and putting new ones

Once I slept on the bed I started feeling itchiness in my skin and nose and started sneezing ..

That's one thing ..

Second thing could supplementing with Probiotics strengthen my immune system and rebuild my gut Flora and help the healing process??
I had SIBO BEFORE CARNIVORE...

it's been 1 MONTH now if it's okay to take a probiotic.. after How long time should I take it exactly ?

And can cut salt from diet cuz I feel dizzy and low energy when I take salt

I don't use any Electrolyte or mineral water btw .. can't get it.. just meat salt water but I'm slightly sensitive to salt .. I also do intermittent fasting 20h everyday and 24h twice a week.. I have more to ask but I hope you answer me in these questions

Cuz Idk really what to do with this body of mine

Thanks Dr Berry❤

In that case I'd like to know why other carnivores manufacture their own vitamin C.
.
Also why did sailors get scurvy? Preserved meat? Lots of csrbs/white flour?
