My 8 year old bawled at the end of this movie. I think it was his first true emotional response to a movie. I think this might have been his Iron Giant

Such a masterpiece. I love how it isn't afraid to show how brutal nature can be as well as it's most beautiful parts. I love how Roz gradually sounds less robotic, Fink's character development is great, and the scene where BrightBill leaves on migration and Roz catches his feather makes me tear up every time.

The crying in the migration scene was so real lol. Roz running after brightbill even after she completed her task especially got me.

“What if I need to tell you something and you’re not here” this broke me. I wish everyday that I could tell my great grandparents things but I can’t because they’re gone 😭

I'm a simple man. I see Greg cry in a thumbnail, I click, and I cry along with him. 💜

Never in my entire life I would have guessed that a relationship between a robot and goose will make me cry but here I am still bawling

This movie captures the epitome of motherhood so well. Throughout the entire movie we see the robot slowly breaking down, giving so much of herself to complete her task of raising a gossling. The only thing that keeps her going at the end when she is on the verge of shutting down permanently is when the gossling nuzzles up to her neck and tells her he loves her, giving her renewed strength and purpose, making all her efforts and self-sacrifice worth it. It so accurately dipicts the struggle moms face in raising children, while also masterfully showing how love and meaning more than make up for it in the end. My wife was a mess throughout the entire last half of the movie. Such a beautiful film and one that we desperately needed in these times.

I love that as the movie progress, the robot's voice starts the sound less robotic and more human as it starts developing human feelings.

For me The Wild Robot, Wall-E, The Iron Giant, and Big Hero 6 are proof enough that true sentient AI doesn’t always lead to Terminator or the end of humanity. It can be just as pure, good, innocent and beautiful as organic life.

The fact that Chris Sanders wrote and directed this movie excites me the most. He has been in the animation industry for decades and it truly upsets me how a lot of people still don't know his name. From Lilo & Stitch to How To Train Your Dragon to The Croods and now this movie, Sanders is easily one of the greatest artists working in the animation industry. I really hope this could be a bigger hit for him. He's such a gem in animation industry, i adore him so much

My mother passed away on February she suffered an aneurysm and was on a coma state for 3 days, the scene were brightbill starts talking to his mom while she is unconscious and telling her "I love you, mom" did hit me hard, I've been on the same situation for those 3 days hoping I could get a response that never came, so glad it went different in this movie. Got into the theater waiting just another kids movie and left having one of the best feelings and smile on my face after this piece of art.

I love how the message of this movie is that kindness is the most powerful force you can wield

It broke me. 😢 I have an autistic son and I was not expecting this absolutely beautiful movie to hit so close to home. Best animated movie this year for sure! ❤

kit connor who voices brightbill did an unbelievable job in this, his voice conveyed every emotion so beautifully - he also played young elton john in rocketman and stars alongside joe locke (who plays teen in agatha) in netflix’s heartstopper which is an amazing tv series!

I recently lost my dad and Fink's line "what if I need to tell you something and you're not here" hit me so hard. It's such a true thing that you have to deal with everyday with loss. And for a film like that to adress that in that way is so special

I BAWLED during most of the movie, I hadn’t even scene the trailer, I went in absolutely blind. At the end, when Fink finally speaks about his fears of losing Roz? That broke me. I almost lost my mom to an aneurysm - stroke combo, many of my friends have left to live abroad. I went with two of my best friends, one of them her whole family live in a different country, and my other best friend lost her dad suddenly earlier this year. We ALL felt this movie deeply.

A very subtle aspect of Lupita's voice in this that I absolutely love.... Obviously at the start she spoke like beep boop beep boop and robotic... but her voice also had some sort of reverb on it, like all the other robots... and as she progresses to the end the reverb disappears and you just hear her raw, soothing, motherly voice, with the "human" expressiveness. I absolutely loved that attention to detail.
