How to Improve Your SLEEP (by Controlling Your Body Temperature)

Temperature is an incredibly important factor in sleep quality. In fact, your body's core temperature has to drop by about two degrees Fahrenheit before you can fall asleep. Plus, your body goes through various temperature changes throughout the night as you cycle between the different stages of sleep.

In this video, I'll share what you can do to support your body's natural temperature changes before bedtime and during the night. For example, I leverage hot showers, sauna bathing and ice baths to prepare my body for sleep, and I use a mattress cooling solution (Eight Sleep) that dynamically adapts the temperature under the sheets throughout the night.

Hi Michael, great informative video thank you! Do you mind providing a breakdown of the exact temperature changes and what time they change for you during a typical night?

Hi Michael, do you know of any wearable thermometer for continuous temperature monitoring ? Preferably not disposable and one with smart features ? I heard only Celsium, it looks good but a bit bulky and lacks Google Fit and Apple Health integration. So if you find out any smart wearable thermometer, I am happy to buy with your reference.
