Stunning photography and an easy, clear and informative commentary. A great video. I went for a Model 3 Performance in blue and just love the lower stance and effortless acceleration, when needed.

I just binge watched all your videos after buying my Tesla model 3 performance. It's expected in Aug 04 to Aug 24 2021. I'm so excited and all your videos are so aestheticly pleasing and informative. I have so many accessories ready to purchase. Still considering the if I should do my ppf myself to save money for let the professionals do it. The ceramic coat is a must. Thank you so much!!! Really looking forward to more uploads from you!

Smooth photography on a nice background with a peaceful music : great quality video, like always 👍👌
The arguments given ended to commit myself to order a Long Range + Boost instead of a Performance : living in the French Alps, I can't cope with a too low ground clearance or low profile tires on the twisty ans slippery roads here...

If you live in a cold weather environment and don’t want to have change your tires out all the time, Long range is the only way to go. With the performance booster, you’re at 3.6 0-60. The M3P is 3.1. If you like the wheels on the M3P wheels, get the sport rims on the LR. My 2021 M3LR with the boosted performance upgrade is all in $52k. Better range, amazing performance and no additional tire concerns for cold weather. Hope my input is helpful. Enjoy your TSLA!

Wow, this was an awesome video!! I really appreciate all the info specially you have answered one of the most important questions for me, the sound. This is very very important for me and I did not know that you get the same premium sound on both! I think this is what has determined my decision and because pot holes are very common where I live, don’t think the performance would be a good choice specially if I may drive it into Mexico from time to time. Long range makes sense to me. Thank you.

Great quality vid along w/ terrific info. I swap from M3P to LR for exactly the points ya covered in this vid. (If I had unlimited budget and could get winter rims I’d of went w/ M3P-love the looks but the LR is growing on me)

We were considering buying a Tesla Model 3 so this video was great right now. The cars that were being considered were the Tesla Model Y LR, Tesla Model 3 LR and Performance, Mustang Mach E and Jaguar I-pace. The I-pace and the 3 LR were the most considered, but we ended up ordering a Model 3 Performance yesterday. Estimated delivery in early December. Looking forward to it :-)

great production quality and good visuals. I'm glad someone is showing the actual car instead of talking into the selfie camera while driving

Just to add in the UK there are significant tax benefits with the long-range vs the performance, if you factor this in then there is a total 13K saving in buying a LR over a performance, given 13K you can spec out a nice set of alloys, after market body kit, OTA acceleration upgrade to 3.7, bigger brakes, alloy pedals, enhance auto pilot, interior mods and still have some change left. It is kind of a no brainer, however with the model 3 performance it will offer exclusivity and accelerate faster than pretty much every ICE car on the road. 3.1 0-60 and a top speed of 162mph and track mode which is worth it's weight in gold especially if you plan to track the car, something the LR cannot do. The LR however is 100% the sweet spot, the performance in my opinion doesn’t present great value in comparison to the LR but does present great value when comparing it to other cars in a similar performance category.

If you live in a temperate climate you also have to consider changing tires in the winter since the performance model comes with summer only tires and you cannot use them in the winter.

If you want to get performance for drag or can beat a Lamborghini ferrari bugatti etc then get the performance
If you want to get the long range for smooth ride and if range is important to you then get the long range

Yep I wanted to go with m3p right away. Honestly I feel like the m3 sr is the Best value unless you actually do road trips often

I ended up getting 18 inch wheels and tires for my M3 performance... after 5 flat tires and 2 damaged wheels. There just isn't enough rubber on the 20 inch wheels. They get damaged too easily. Other then that... I love it!

No disrespect but you talk about the upgraded performance brakes like the long range brakes are inadequate, but the long range front brakes are actually brembos. The performance only makes practical sense if people are gonna fully unleash it on the track

One more question. After a full charge, how long does the battery last on the 3 LR if just left alone parked in the garage? Say I go on a vacation for 3 weeks. Will I find the Tesla in the same battery condition or ??

Tesla service center said the brakes are exactly the same between M3LR and M3P except for the red color.

premium Teslas need to have dynamic air suspension just like Audis

I don’t think many people understand just how important range is to their lifestyle. No matter how little a person may drive daily, that extra range will make a huge difference more times than they may think. To trade in LR for Performance just to get a 0-60 boost of less that one second make zero financial sense. I have a M3LR with 19 inch rims and it corners amazingly, breaks with little effort (and on a dime if necessary) without it being lower to the ground with bigger disc breaks. The car is super fast already, and in my opinion, the Performance model is a waste of money in terms of financial investment.
