2024 vs 2021 Tesla Model 3 Performance - Drag Race

We pitted the new 2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance against the 2021 Model 3 Performance! There's a noticeable difference, especially on the top end!

Note: The wing adds 1.5 horsepower - yes one-and-a-half horsepower of drag at 100mph. E.g. it made no tangible difference to the results.

Thats quicker than my MY2012 Nissan GTR - best figures of 11.1 seconds in the quarter at 120.7 mph. And this in an affordable quiet comfortable saloon car that can handle child seats in the back and a week's shopping in the trunk. Well done Tesla!

Unbelievable value per dollar here with active suspension, real sports seats, better brakes, sticky staggered wider tires&forged wheels.

That huge wing on the back of the '21 M3P isn't doing it any favors. In fact, it's increasing drag and slows down acceleration.
