The biggest flaw of the mig21 family (except the j-7e) is that it bleeds so much speed in turns that in a sustained dogfight it will always stall out much quicker than any other opponent it faces. I think the f8’s mistake is that he kept the fight downward instead of keeping it horizontal and took Thunderkills’s bait of aiming the nose down. Thunderkills’s first missile missed because the f8 is jamming the mig21’s WEZ. The f8 then reverses right in front of him, which is a pretty big blunder, and got clapped
