The P51 stuck on the dogfight even though he had energy advantage, just had to stick in the scissors for the deflection shot after some turns. Nice kill

P51 doesn’t have the best vertical energy retention because of the lacklustre climbrate. It also bleeds a lot of speed in turns. I think this guy should have fought downwards since it doesn’t have good climb and high altitude performance

I was doing the same exact rolling scissors last night in a G2 Trop with an F4U. He slaughtered me. I was at a good speed as well from the start.

The p51 would’ve been good if he went back into the vertical after missing the dive and not turned and rolled with you.
