There is a question. Do you really use motor control like turning off control of one motor and controlling only the second, and then turning on both motors and increasing the power to maximum? If so, then you have amazing multitasking in combat. I thought maybe there was a way to make propulsion yaw more comfortable and automated.

Splitting the throttles doesn't even work for the MiG-29 in practice because the engines are offset outwards to point into the center of mass. You lose that extra rotational kick you would get in an F-14.
