I own both Makita and Milwaukee.
Makita drills and impacts blow milwaukee away when you use them all day long. Way smoother. Better triggers and the settings on the new models are actually useful.

I've only had to warranty 1 makita tool since 2011 and I've already warrantied 5 tools in the 3 years I've been using Milwaukee.

Milwaukees are generally stronger but they are not nearly as long lasting tools compared to Makita. Just my experience in working in heavy oil and gas machinery.

very fair, milwaukee has 80A output battery and makita 30A, almost the same haha. You should really use 4 or 5ah makita 18v packs for power testing, 6Ah is weaker

I’ve worked with both drills for many years. I’ve always respected Milwaukie for its power etc. but I’ll tell you what makitas impact has never failed me(.) not even that but the comfort and the way it drives every screw is so nice, it has better handling & just an overall perfect ratio to the point where it makes it so nice to use all day everyday. It also has a brighter light & way quieter! I will always root for makita but I’ll respect Milwaukie .

That’s not a fair test, I use them everyday for work and I don’t have the same power in my left hand as I do in my right hand. Milwaukee batteries don’t work in the rain but Makita will power it’s way through it

Makita LXT 18V battteries All have 18650 cells and that Milwaukee 18v 6.0ah has 21700 cells and that Alone is a Huge Advantage for Milwaukee....Just Sayin...
