It doesn't matter which one is faster what matters is which one will run longer without problems. I have Milwaukee tools and they have to be repaired more often than DeWalt.

The union guys using them still take all day to complete there work.

Price wise I’d rather go with the m12 fuel impact. Much cheaper and has plenty of power to do what you need and lighter.

You can do that all day, the Dewalt guy will get another Dewalt impact if that starts smoking and Milwaukee guy will get another Milwaukee impact even if the collet stops retaining the bit.

Congrats on getting one of the Gen. 4s that isn't defective. Hopefully Milwaukee will do the right thing and issue a recall soon before they tick off their loyal customer base.

Happy to say I have the Gen 4 drill/impact. They are by far the best quality, Dewalt tools are overall better value though

That gen 4 has at least 8 years of technology on that dewalt. Bet they didn't have 5ah batteries when it was released.

Tbh i prefer Milwaukee purely cause i dont like the grip on dewalt impacts drills etc but dewalt makes damn good tools

Dewalt is usally faster and milwaukee sacrificed the speed for more power but that's sick right on milwaukee, you can hear dewalt sounds like it's irregular and the impact drivers actually fail were milwaukee just hasn't that's if your maxing them out all day...

I want to see longevity testing. Been buying all milwaukee for 10 yrs but having too many broken down fuel line tools. I don’t beat on my tools either. Anyone else experiencing this with the fuel?
