Time Management has always been a struggle. Trying to manage responsibilities, tasks, and ideas and figuring out how to determine what's actually important or not. But with a system for time management, it can be effortless, easy, and even enjoyable. I use a simple 3 part system, inspired by David Allen's Getting Things Done, to manage my busy life all inside Notion.

🙏 Thanks for watching!

Those 3Cs
1. Collect
2.clarify (priorities)
3.Calendar
Mind is for having ideas not for holding them!!

[00:57]
- Unclosed thought loops lead to intrusive thoughts that affect our ability to be present.
- Collecting all open loops helps our mind focus and be more productive.

[01:54]
- Use an inbox to store thoughts and eliminate worries.
- Prioritize thoughts with cat time to avoid critical mass and increase productivity.

[02:55]
- Staggering task blocks limits critical mass and frees up brain space
- Simplified inbox sorting: actionable vs. idea, prioritize by importance and energy

[03:55]
- Filtering and categorizing tasks helps with clarity
- Assigning a specific time to tasks offloads from the mind

[04:51]
- Using a productivity app, Notion, to stay focused.
- Proactive collection of unclosed loops on a daily scratch pad to avoid distractions.

[05:46]
- He clarifies his notion database by priority and energy levels
- He schedules his high-priority, low-energy tasks for later

[06:44]
- Digital minimalism approach with identification of gaps in productivity
- Complete workstation on Notion comprising task management, knowledge management, habit tracking and study system

Thank you for your ideas😌

This is such great advice, I love the idea of “cat time” to process and get caught up with everything ❤

I do the same steps since years ago and trust me, it’s soooo helpful. I like using timetree as my calendar to organize my to do lists for that day as I categorize them into different subjects, and use notion as a guide of a list of activities that are needed to get done and the time remaining before their deadline. So far so good except for the fact that I can’t help but procrastinate at times but at least I know what I have to make up for 😭

I just stumbled upon your channel half an hour ago and I'm in love. I've only watched the video about tricking your brain and I tried taking it in small steps. I finished the essay I've been procrastinating on for days. Though I really hope you would avoid adding background music to your videos because it gives me trouble focusing as well as anxiety. The information you're providing is already golden, so the music isn't really contributing to the quality of the video. Hope you would take this into consideration, thanks! Keep going man

This just blew my ADHD brain. This is so smart, but the thought of me ever being THAT organized is hard to picture 😂

Amazing techniques, surely gonna try them! I always had in mind that "collect the intrusive thoughts as a list while working n finish them later list" but never really got myself to apply it but after seeing the example tha you showed at the end of the video, I re realised it's effectiveness!👌🏻🔥
As i always say, Great-Quality content.🔥❤
