I lost 150hrs of grinding in WWZ because my data got corrupted. I deleted that file and re-downloaded it. I must of did something wrong because all my progress is gone and I’ve been playing since 2019. You can imagine how horrible that feels.

I prefer local backups. My understanding is that games for ps4 is in the m.2 ssd and games for ps5 games is in console storage. The swved game data is also in colsove storage for voth ps5 and 5. But when doing a ps5 backup all console data is saved not the m.2 ssd which is fine as u just want to save ur game data really.

i lost 42 hours on mafia defintive edition, i was doing the free ride phone booth missions where your on a motorcycle and as soon I beat the mission, my game crashed and when I went back on the game my game data corrupted. W 2K 🤣

So wait a minute... You can't save your game data to anywhere else, no USB etc? And the only way you can save your game save data, os to subscribe to PS Plus? Well that sucks.. This is all free and automatic on Xbox, no subscription required.

I got a PS five slim. How do I get back my saving data if I never was a member PlayStation plus I thought as long as you have your account you’ll save it. It will still be on the drives. I had two different ones one for the PS4 and one for the PS five both drives are saying there’s no data on there. This makes no sense.

ps5 had been giving me issues for weeks so it came down to doing a factory reset. basically lost every save except for online games like warzone/mw2. but cause i dont pay for ps plus i can’t recover anything. Hundreds of hours between tsushima, tlou1&2, gow, spiderman, etc. all gone because i dont really care about playing multiplayer games anymore. ig thats what i get for being cheap:/

for me in saved data and game/app settings I don't have an option for console storage for ps4 or ps5 save data I only have upload or delete from console storage to where I can't copy my save state

So i have my Physical disc of 'ELDEN RING (R3)" with 300+ hrs of game file saved on it, if i buy the "ELDEN RING (R3) with dlc" on it, does the saved file readable to the "E.R w DLC?"

Note: Im using U.S psn account not knowing about the region lock years ago when i make my first PS acc and buying random disc without knowing these (R1-2-3-4) whatsoever
