Time and time again, we’ve failed to predict that the technologies of the present will change the future. Recently, a similar pattern was discovered in our individual lives: we’re unable to predict change in ourselves. But is there anything wrong with assuming that who we are now is who we will continue to be? Bence Nanay details the consequences of seeing ourselves as finished products.

Isn't it beautiful that although we love to live in the present and thus, assume that the present is the best from all the hurdles in the past, the future never stops surprising us? What a challenge in life!

I've been pulling all-nighters after all-nighters just to watch TED ED for about a week now...I should have worked on my undergraduate thesis yet this channel is so dangerously addictive and it feeds my procrastinating brain just right...😅😅

History will never end. The events that are going in the world right now are historical events themselves.

We all change, when you think about it we're all different people all through our lives, and that's okay that's good you gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all the people that you used to be. - the 11th

There ARE some corner stones to life and society that ARE predictable or consistent..allowing for a degree of sound planning and strategy. Unforeseen consequences or timing might cause dynamic shifts...but still is possible to work at least rough outline of most major events.

Amazing, That true our idea change with time according to the conditions we will experience to any point in the future then we cant deal with this conditions with the same ideas from the past because we already lost it during the journey, Thanks Ted for your deep and detailed lessons to improve our thinking.
