not the freaking side hustles again bro

I am sorry but especially the last advice is really, really privileged and totally falls in the trap of „self-made“ people. Like a side hustle often means: More Take-Out, less time for meal prep, less time for repairing things. Surely it can be a short-term boost to work as a gift wrapper in holiday season but I would never advise anyone to do side hustles without it being necessary or something you really love. Burning out is not saving you money in the long term! And this is if you’re ABLE to work more, don’t have kids or parents that need help. Also it’s taking away from your socializing time that’s priceless.

A temporary no or low buy is something that is doable for most people. But hustle culture is quite damaging not only to oneself but also to society as it reduces the time you have for volonteering, learning new skills or simply care for the people you love.

People get so mad about the side hustle advice but the truth is, it really depends on how many hours you are already working and how good a match the side hustle is. I teach one pilates class a week and some weeks I cover for yoga. Most people pay to do sports but I get to do my hobby AND get paid. To me, it’s perfect. But definitely not for everyone! Find something you like and think of how you can make some money while doing it.
(Added benefit is that you can deduct taxes on any sports related expenses you have 👏🏼)

Could we please have a quota on the number of whooshing noise transitions in these clips? Or must it really be for every transition?

I think a food spending freeze/no buy would definitely be useful! It'll help you use what you've already got (especially those canned foods at the back of the pantry that are perfectly good, but you haven't used them yet), AND it'll show me how much money I spend on takeout 😅

People really are expecting magic bullets from these channels! The financial advice we got in the 90s was stuff like try clipping coupons or take your lunch to work! As if that was gonna move the needle on your student loan debt or rent.

Honest question: how do you get out of a side hustle when you realize it's not for you? I started a small side hustle offering administrative support and currently have two clients who rely on me. Do I just turn around and say, "Sorry, I'm closing down the business, better luck next time"?

I make good money. But have medical expenses between 1200-1800 monthly depending on meds and exams. And that’s after insurance. Few tips giving in all these channels help.

Purchasing a stock may seem straightforward, but selecting the correct stock without a proven strategy can be exceedingly challenging. I've been working on expanding my $210K portfolio for a while, and my primary obstacle is the lack of clear entry and exit strategies. Any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Side hustles? I'm already working 50 hours a week. How this guide is "chilled" if your recommendation is to 1) work more, 2) learn how to invest (which is aka "work more").
The only valid advice is : count money and spend less. Fantastic! It's like this "how to lose weight" videos: count calories and eat less. Revolutionary ideas indeed!
