Anyone hearing weird sounds in the background of the video

I don't think the storage size will be enough, but it's still insane value for the price

I’ve never even owned an Xbox console, but I do like what they are doing this gen offering 2 console propositions that can appeal to various budgets. And both seem to be a pretty good value given the offerings of each.

It's a lot cheaper to have a 2 TB hardrive and just shift the games around. How many games do you really need to play at once?

At least Sony learned from their handheld days and aren't going the proprietary route for external storage upgrades.

I'm glad we can have 2 drives with either that games can be played from. no more replacing drives and formatting

I wonder if you could just use an external ssd and transfer/copy a game back to the internal ssd and still be able to play the next gen version or if it will only be the next gen version if it’s downloaded directly to the internal ssd....

Distracting sounds (like a door creaking) wth? Hard to focus on what he was saying.

this was a really good and fair video, compared to most other things going around

On the Xbox camp, the best thing to do is keep a very large standard external USB drive and load and offload your game catalogue onto your internal SSD, then archive them back once your done with it. No brainer really, copying files back and forth is very swift.

My main concern is about the PS5 approved SSD that is installed internally. They haven't announced compatible SSDs yet. Also the PS5 SSD is pretty much state of art in terms of raw speed and IO channels. In other words there is no SSD out there that you can buy that is equivalent to the PS5 SSD. So if a game was made with custom SSD in mind (Ratchet & Clank) and it is installed on to an off the shelf, inferior what happens???

Doesn't seem as the media is concerned with the price of expanding memory for the PS5. I hope someone starts asking this question with influence.

Solid video. Nothing's more frustrating than running out of storage. RIP

So my question is it better to get the PS5 digital and just buy a cheaper hard drive bc I I’m used to deleting and downloading games or should I buy the standard version and just put in a disc so I won’t have to download the full game on my drive. Or will it still take up the same amount of space anyway bc it still has to download???

I wanna know if playing last generation games on these new systems will no longer have loading times.
