i bought my 2000 neon with 29k miles on it 4 years ago and i've driven it literally across the entire united states. its been super easy to change parts and maintain this vehicle..very cost efficient! loves to move once you get up to speed. the only thing i wish i had was cruise control

I got a 96 Neon in 2005, lasted me 8 years and finally died with over 200k miles. It needed a bunch of little things done when I got it but after that it was pretty reliable.

I drive a 02 Neon and it’s so great! Not a single problem and it’s at about 189k miles on it. The only problem is me finding myself wanting to drive it all the time! Such a fun little car!

Knock on wood, my son still has his first car: a 2002 Dodge Neon. He bought it from a older fellow for $1400. I've done a good bit of work on her, and he had the front end worked on, and I have to admit that it has been a pretty good little car.

i bought my dodge neon from a buddy for $400 bucks. 6 years later its still running strong and i've only done the bare minimum to it lol

The Dodge Neon may have had poor build quality, but those things used to run for a really long time. Reliable.

My Dad bought a new 05 Neon. Ten years later I bought it, and gave it to my granddaughter. It only had 36, 000 miles on it. Dad never washed the underbody, while living in IL, and salt took its toll on the subframe.
It makes a great car for her as a college student. So far she has doubled the mileage on the vehicle.
