I can’t tell you how many videos I’ve looked at tonight trying to find an answer to the simple question of how to work on the muscles that reach behind your back. You are the first one for that reason I have liked you and I’m going to subscribe thank you this is a tremendous help.

🏵😍🏵 Dear Dr Tara, my arm spastics kicked in severely in month 2 after stroke. It took me almost a year to get the arm straight again with weights and stretching and another at least 6 months to really get the hands meeting behind my back. Now it is part of the morning routine stretches to have both hands meet in the back and gently pulling them up and away in order to regain the freedom of that shoulder. Biggest obstacles were hurt in the bicep and the super tight breast muscle. Both get better over time and finally stop hurting. Thanks for your exercises, some are a bit advanced for me, but I will try them 👍👍 Super greetings from Hamburg 🤩🤩

Thanks for the explanation and the exercises, I have been doing a lot of similar exercises since I learned from you that you need to move your shoulder blade to raise your arm. I've been struggling with this for a long time, but I'm slowly making progress. Often as I sit and read I put my hand over the back of the chair and stretch it that way. I want to tell others that it is never too late, you just need to be patient and persistent, because I see that most of us have similar problems.

Thank you so much yet again. You must be a bit of a mind reader, Tara. Just yesterday I was thinking about how to get the arm to the back and there is the video. Thank you so much once again. I look forward each week to the new videos and they never disappoint

Great video again. Everything you put out makes so much sense and I think I can speak on behalf of everyone on this channel that we appreciate you taking your time and providing this info to us. When you can Dr. Tabias, please put out some info on sensory education please. I still can't feel things like different textures or feel how much pressure I have when holding things I can feel hot and cold but that's about it. It only is in my right hand. And I just go to where I can hold my pen. Thanks again.

Good morning Dr Tobias, thank you for this video, I too have been wondering about how to get my arm behind my back. While I can passively work my left arm up and around my neck, and I stretch my arm with my cane every direction i possibly can. These excercises look to provide just what I need, thanks again. One other thing, I can walk with a cane forward, but can't backwards, when I am walking with my leg stretched out behind me I do try to back up when I do and my leg comes through, my knee pops back really hard. I'm wondering if you have any videos on this situation that you might direct me to, thanks again, sorry for such a long message
