A Great Zippo Lighter Upgrade!

Zippo lighters are part of Americana, but for camping they have some drawbacks. Wood matches for my cigar, and I just roll up a piece of paper and light it to put in a fire. That's my opinion and experience, yours works as well. Thanks for the content

I use the exact same for my zippo to light my cigars. Had it since 2018 and never looked back since. Wonderful to for cigars without ruining the flavour of my Cubans or any cigars. Perfect for outdoors also and windy days. 👍👍

If you want a more traditional flame rather than a jet they also make butane inserts with a wheel and flame. I’ve used it for awhile and it’s good.

A butane torch tends to burn a cigar leading to a bitter taste especially on the first few puffs, loke others have said, a wood (preferably cedar) lighter gives the best flame. If you fine a taste comes from lighter fluid you may want to try lighting the cigar out of your mouth, this tends to give me a much more enjoyable experience and flavor overall with a cigar

I always use my zippo, s for camp fires and i never had any trouble with lighting a cigar but nice video

That’s one reason I quit carrying my Zippo around, about every 3 days I’d have to fill it up again.
I’m going to have to try one of those inserts out, I notice they make them with one flame, dual, and I think another one.
I guess the single would be best, idk?

I've got a few Zippo's. My go-to is my Pipe lighter. For cigars and my Pipe. I just got the butane Pipe insert and I like it. I carry both..oh, and I don't know why you guys have an issue with running dry?? I give my Zippo a 3 second shot in the morning and use it ALL DAY LONG and don't run dry until the end of the day. And THAT is what that cool little fuel cannister is for....so yeah... Oh, and Zippo customer service is GREAT AND FAST...FOR LIFE...

I use a regular zippo for cigars, have never noticed a fuel taste in the cigar

I've gone through 4 they don't seem to last don't know if any 3rd party ones that actually work but never got anywhere with warranty only returns

If you don’t want the fuel to leak get a zippo lighter gasket none of those cheap plastic ones get a metal one they come with rubber O-rings
