Things I’ve read looking into hair loss
1) dehydration
2) not enough sun
3) blood flow
4) notice a difference when drinking gatorade when I was sick with covid. My hair became significantly softer than drinking water. Is there a more healthier dink that does not have sugar?
5) over weight/ plus other health issues Diabetes/menopause
6) dry scalp
7) brushes that pulls hair out —- (not just hair ties)
8) flashbacks of a negative memory/ stress

I've tried a zillion things. The single things that actually worked in my case: A good diet, proper sleeping timings, moving your body atleast for 20 mins, eating right, using good shampoo as well as oil. I use only liiitleextraa cocoonnion organic hair oil shampoo for this reason plus it does the work. My hair fall got under control with it.

Unless I missed it, you forgot to mention one of the almighty factors of hair loss which is hormones. Menopause has destroyed my hair beyond belief! It’s not only thinned but change colour & texture 😢

I appreciate the effort you put into making this video—it's truly valuable. My personal best decision in life was to turn to natural hair loss prevention products, and that's why I saved my hair. These natural products don't have expensive marketing campaigns, so you've probably never heard of them, but trust me, be sure to try them, and you'll thank me. I think Norlest has everything related to these natural formulas.

I'm grateful for the actionable tips you've shared in this video. Everyone is different, and not everyone has the same hair, but personally, natural recipes from Norlest have helped me a lot. My hair has regained its shine, and I'm really satisfied. My warm recommendation is to try these products because if nothing has helped you so far, then you have nothing to lose with this, and you can gain a lot.

The only thing that helped me with my hormonal hair loss was laser cap and massaging.
To see results with the cap took a good 16 months to see growth. And now it’s on its way. It was a pretty severe wide part situation that no doctors had answers for.
It totally makes sense because I have always had anxiety, that I have a tight scalp. And lack of blood flow from that. So I do believe the massaging has helped with the tight scalp. No doctor will tell you this because you didn’t study it.

Also my mom has thinning hair and has always had anxiety.
My siblings that don’t have anxiety, have thick hair.

I was losing a lot of hair during showers and after brushing my hair out. What helped me was fish oil supplements, b12 and vitamin d. I don’t take fish oil anymore but continue with other vitamins and my hair loss isn’t bad anymore. Hope that helps.

So informative! My husband passed away suddenly and I have experienced a ton of hair loss. I never realized how stress could cause so much hair loss. My hairdresser noticed it before I did.

Have been using this litttleextra reacvtivate growth serum since the past two months, and this is my second bottle. My hair looks dense now than what it used to be. Hair loss has also decreased, although sometimes my scalp feels dry after application. So, I use the cocooonion hydrating shampoo following the serum. So far, I’ve seen nice results, and I am the happiest person on earth

I’m 23 and I noticed my hair loss/thinning was getting pretty noticeable a year ago. I started taking minoxidil, took saw palmetto, vitamin D, iron, and vitamin B supplements (bc I’m deficient) and started derma-rolling my scalp once a week. I also use rosemary and peppermint oil in a carrot seed carrier oil on my scalp for 30 minutes before i shower. These were all things that i have read were helpful in treating female pattern hair loss. I don’t know what exactly has been most effective since I’m doing everything at once, but it’s been a year later and my hair looks better than it has in a very long time! I’m glad that what I’m doing is working, is there anything that I’m doing that actually may not be as effective as i thought? Also, i hope to have kids in the future, but I know I can’t take minoxidil during my pregnancy, what alternatives are there so my hair doesn’t all fall out? Thank you for the informative video!

I always find it amazing how much education and clarity your videos provide in just 15 to 30 minutes! Since you started your channel six months ago I've learned so much about skin and hair. The irony is that I thought I knew a lot about the subjects you've covered, but you have a way of making things simple to understand and you've dispelled a lot of the myths that I, and I'm sure others, have always believed. I also appreciate when you have a partnership video, like this one, you always state it right up front so people know from the get go. Regardless, partnered or not, all of your videos have been a treasure trove of skin and hair education.

I started thinning in 6th grade and I’m 32 now… shedding and thinning even more than ever! I recently got gastric bypass surgery too and I do believe that’s the reason I’m loosing a ton of hair and thinning rapidly. It sucks as a woman. I have tried absolutely everything with no progress. I will be wearing wigs soon witch is fine but it makes me sad that I’m loosing the battle with my hair

After losing an abundance of hair recently, I read amy grow herbal hair oil helps hair to grow back. I was skeptical but tried. Without having mentioned anything to my hairdresser, she commented to me that I had lots of new hair! That was exciting. After hearing this, I tried this oil and got new baby hair too. This is after only about a week or two of use. Truly amazing.

Hi, I recently had some patches and hair loss. I am a healthy 56 year old. My Dr said was due to stress, which I never thought I was stress but I guess it can happen. I started to do a different hair care routine and happy to say is all growing back.
1. I diluted my shampoo half water half shampoo.some shampoos are harsh and strong and this helps.
2 I deep condition my hair with natural hair mask each and every week.
3.I use Nioxin diluted with alovera gel.
4. I also use rosemary oil and pumpkin oil and massage but scalp every night. I stop putting my hair on tight buns etc.
I have seen very wonderful results! All my hair and plus have been growing! I hope this help someone! Do your research each person is different and not all treatments work for everyone but for me this has worked! Thank you for such informative video!

Thank you! I’ve had hair loss for the last three to four years and am looking for help. I appreciated the honesty and how straight forward you were.

Thanks for this! The dermatologist I went to for hair loss was awful, and I ended up being my own detective. Found out after a time that I was getting too much selenium in my diet + scalp inflammation from bad chemicals in my food. It’s been a year of changing those 2 main things and calming from the loss stress and it’s coming back.

Where have you been all of my YouTube watching life, Dr. Ellis??! You truly are not only an invaluable source of information, but you also always find the right words to break down complex knowledge into easily digestible chunks of information. Love listening to you and learning from you!

I started using Minoxidal at 39 and just turned 60. I also use head and shoulders as my derm told me the zinc in it can regrow hair, I take d3 ( was very low), and biotin forte (for the biotin and zinc). My hair has held steady. I have a thyroid condition and started noticing thinning in my late 20s. I have never missed a night- like the doc says- want to hang on to my hair. I am ready to try the laser helmet or prp next.
