Birth control is so bad for our bodies, it destroyed me, and I didn't think it was worth it, but the hairs on me coming back thick, dark, and hideous aren't worth it either. I don't understand why we don't have better healthier ways to stop this

I’m Latina, and my whole life I’ve struggled with this. Shaving, and not shaving when I have to go out is a constant concern. I feel like it’s the first thing people notice since I’m tall and everyone’s looking right up to my chin

I've had this issue and I'm a dark skinned Indian girl from South Africa. It has caused so much embarrassment and insecurity. I used an at home IPL laser device called "lumilia"that not only completely took the hair away but reduced the marks on my skin. Because you had to buy the product it was only a once off cost and I used it on my legs and arms which are completely hairless now also. It also helped avoid the judgy clinicians at a laser salon. I truly hope this helps someone out there❤️❤️ much love

It's so disappointing to see a 'youtube Doctor' giving out the same awful advice about taking the pill, anytime a PCOS women talks about a symptom the answer is the pill.

Many of us PCOS have tried the pill & have found our symptoms have got worse, so please stop recommending it especially to young impressionable women

Following pregnancy, I observed my hairfall but I stayed calm. I took action to remedy it. I chose a wellness-focused strategy.
I took care of my nutrition, eating nutrient-rich foods, especially rich in Vitamin E and Protein.
I worked out regularly and engaged in yoga for stress management.
I just stayed away from styles that pull on my hair and stopped using heated hair tools to minimise hair stress.
I even started applying LittleExttra's Coconion shampoo, hair oil combined with a wooden neem comb.
The result was hairfall control and the return of my confidence.

Taking Inositol supplement helps a lot. Suppressing the symptoms with oral contraceptives will only worsen PCOS.

Not antigen but androgen hormones. Before taking those, think about the side effects. Loss of libido, cyst in breast and possibly cancer with long term use.

Laser is expensive and for me, wasn't permanent. So I did 5 sessions of electrolosis for 400.00 total. It's all gone. Never returned. Permanent.

This was a great message and I’m thankful for it. I’ve always had a feeling I would meet someone in the summer. The last guy wasn’t it.

Also look into treating and possibly curing PCOS itself if it's a cause of insulin resistance, for instance. Diet may impact it.

All beautiful looking girls out there are making videos over internet.. enjoying the world.
& we, boy type looking girls with beard all over the face sitting at home, self arrested, searching for a cure, which does not even exist..

My hirsutism combined with rosacea, blepharitis, acne, and just crap facial features make me look so f-ing ugly and I can't stand it, it's all bothered me since I was 11. On the flip side Im ridiculously lucky to have a man who loves me - nobody else would give me a second look. Still, it really sucks, very hard to find confidence

Omg yes this is me! Thick dark hair under my neck! Curly also hard to get. And if I pluck or wax it grows fast! I have sideburns now also. I got diagnosed 2 years ago and gain 40 pounds and alot of thick mustache and eyebrows and face hair.

Spironalactone does not decrease unwanted hair growth. I’m a tried and proven pcos patient.

Correction: it’s called Umber by J. Lenay! It’s working for some with coarse hair. Spearmint, calendula oil… you don’t need a cream, it’s your methods. (And get your hormones checked)
