The Witcher 3 Next Gen Caretaker fight with Updated Signs build (Aard variation)

I thought I was the only one who liked dying the grandmaster griffin armor white.

First, I defeated him with sword attacks (non- griffin build - lev 40), that was harder then I can remember years ago. I also can't remember that he revived when you hit him (green glow). Only those zombies revived him. Toke me > 1h30. It was more a lucky defeat, tough so.
Then I used the Griffin set (lev 40) and added the aard shock wave sign and changed to Conductors of Magic. Based on your build.
I had only the acient leshen decotation for the stamina refill. (no points in the Alchemy).
The result was spectaculair. Once you get your stamina buildup, he almost can't move and the damage is more then a sword attack. Defeating those zombies with Aard is very quick.

As Aard deals damage based on current health, when the enemy reaches low HP, it's starting to reach the point of diminishing return to use Aard as well. So I think it's worth it to switch to Igni at that point, even when the build focuses on boosting Aard anyway. Have you tried this out?

Plot twist, non-sign build can also did the same. But i didn't know if it work on the next gen patch.

idk I tired both, using op signs and also swords, I prefer the swords, I like playing more tk the shows sort of style, lot more combat sword style based with a few emergencies cases of using signs

Why does your aard damage get progressively lower when you spam it?
