Yeah I agree with you here about the season 2 inspired armor, the lower level set looks better. I think if they made it look more like shiny and metallic it would have been better. It looks rather plastic and artificial. That being said I also like the others sets that came out.

This is why they should’ve added a transmog system. I want to be able to use the new armors in my old save.

I actually like the Netflix season 1 armor more than season 2 as well.
Also since they were witcher gear I instantly tried to add white dye on it lol...

I think the only downside to the Dol Blathana and White Tiger sets is they remain pretty low leveled as you go through the game. This is where I personally feel we should have gotten a transmog system for the armor and weapons. Let us change the look to a previous armor/swords while keeping something on with better stats. Fortunately if you're on PC, I highly recommend the mod "Item Level Normalizer". Basically it's a mod that allows your gear to level up with your character. Great for holding onto these low leveled armors! As for the Netflix set. I do agree Season 1's appearance is better, buuut I also like Season 2 as well! It looks a bit more like armor compared to the first Season. Otherwise though, I do think the Season 1 appearance is superior.

Havent seen many people mention it but you can get the Candle-Lantern item from the Monster Den northwest of hanged mans tree its on the doorframe and is useful...just dont walk into the flammable clouds with it like I did as I stated "why would I ever use a Cat potion when I have this"

Apparently the sword you get from our friend in Novigrad once you help him open his shop has also been upgraded and now it doesn't completely suck, you should look into that, thanks for the video, I love your work

Would be cool if we could get Renfri's brooch as sort of like a rune that if we added to the rune slot it'd give a bonus and then be visible on a sword.

3 things you prolly know already, but if not here they are
- now you can pet roach with holding jump button, when near horse
- there is a small animation when collecting herbs (just small "hand move" but still cool)
- in video with new quest you showed refference to Funreal Pyres quest only when we killed the priest, but there is also another dialogue at the start of this new quest if we spared him, or didn't even noticed that he is "fisstech connected" . In that case Geralt will say that he helped the priest, not that he was cheated

and one thing I realized now which is not connected with next gen:
in quest with pan, after grandma tell you all the story, you can refuse to help her, but still go into house and do quest. It will result in one another dialogue on picking up pan, and different dialogue when returning it to grandma

I believe we can find many this type of things in this game by only using this "leave conversation" dialogue options before dialogue ends (if you know what I mean). I don't know if you were already checking this but I will take a closer look to it now!

It's nice that CDPR added a few new armor sets, even if I'll never use them. I can, however, put them on display at Corvo Bianco :)

For personal preference Season 1 armor is the best from the Netflix content and steel sword

The White Tiger, which would be Baihu in Chinese, is one of the four ancient heaven spirits in Chinese culture and represents the West in terms of directions (and also the autumn season). It seems that Emperor Emhyr sent a Marco Polo to the far East lol

If the dol blathanna set isn't showing up for you. Go to the main menu and click on my rewards. Scan the QR code and sign into your GOG account. After you get signed in it should either be in that chest or in my case it popped up in my inventory.

Thanks for explaining how to start the Devil's Pit quest. I agree with you on the armour looks, my favourite by far being the thousand flowers set
