I use a slightly different technique. I floor the throttle, bounce off the limiter and then drop the clutch. Never fails me.

Guys do remember this is different for some cars. Im currently learning to drive. With a manual BMW M3, and sometimes what you have to do is lift up the clutch to the biting point and leave it at the biting point until it reaches about 3-4 mph after which you fully let go of the clutch and start accelerating.

If you really want to move really fast in urgency case, find the highest torque point of your engine 3800rpm in my case. Pull the handbrake put the clutch down, press the accelerator until you come to 3800rpm (or wathever is yours) keep your feet in this exact position, release a bit your clutch until you come to the biting point and you feel the car wanting to go forward (like if you would want to start uphill) then there release the handbrake when you want to and when you start to move at 5km/h release the clutch and press the accelerator down fully (that is manual launch control just for you but don't do it to much or you will wear your clutch fast)

Heal toe brake and accelerator and clutch to bite point, but don’t use a Ford :(
