This was well worth the wait, MD has always been one of those channels i look at and think i can never replicate that kind of pristine tank with out a ton of maintenance. Then when you watch his build videos its all just in the prep and stock heavily with plants from the start. I also love how he uses lots of houseplants to help suck out the nitrates. Looking forward to the next collab, hopefully you got to visit Matt while in the UK

A little late to the party but I love how real MD is. Definitely one of my favorite aquarium Youtubers to watch and he seems like just a genuine guy who keeps it true to himself.

Like he stated, he could keep monster fish like everyone else but he does what HE loves to do. Great stuff, Kaity! Also love the friendship you guys have! Makes it seem like you guys have known each other for quite some time based on the convos.

One of the best fish rooms i have ever seen. MD's tanks look absolutely amazing. The Malawi cichlid at 23:58 is the Copadichromis Borleyi Kadango. Had them in the past and they are gorgeous. They grow quite fast as they love to eat a lot. And i mean a lot.

The tanks MD has are all so incredible. He truly is talented, the scapes are always so beautiful and he always compliments each tank with fish that match so well. His sword tank is one of my favourite, even though it’s fairly simple as far as the scape goes. But with the orange swordtail’s and a few black mollie’s, it sets it off so well. I aspire to have my tanks like he does, but so far I only have mastered one that would compare. He’s such a perfectionist 😂 but he also works on his tanks daily and for most of the day, to keep them to the standards they are at. I’m very envious that you were able to see it in real life. If I ever get to visit the UK, I will definitely attempt to contact him so I can visit his fish room. Great video as always Kaity, keep it up ❤ You are an inspiration to all of us Aussie female fish keepers!
