This video is hilariously wrong in it's example. The framerates still didn't match in the end, and normally for me, this doesn't work. In Powerdirector 13, I attempt to put an Overwatch clip onto the timeline. The FPS of the video is 30. I switch it to 30. Except the ACTUAL frame rate on the 30 setting is 29.97, and it helps nothing, and the video still lags like all hell. Not even when I produce it does it not lag. this video, for me, is comepletely useless.

Thanks but it says my frame rate is 29.47 dpi when I set it to 30. Any idea on what to do?

If you have a Green Screen do this;
- Select edit at the top left next to File.
- Go the bottom of the pop up and select Preferences.
- In the new Preferences Window, select Hardware Acceleration.
- Uncheck both boxes Labeled; “Enable OpenCL technology to speed up video effect preview/render” & “Enable hardware decoding”.
- Close PowerDirector and restart it.
That should get rid of your Green screen problem. Best Wishes & Blessings. Keith Noneya

I have a project right now, where 3 of my videos that I need to import are a different frame rate 23, 29 and 30. Of course, I am getting the PD frame rate warning. Can you please advise me, what do I do to make them all the same? Is a converter available? Thanks

I use PowerDirector 13 to edit my videos. I have it sent to save MPEG videos as 25 fps, but if I load up that very same video, that I just saved, PowerDirector says:
"The frame rate of the clip you just added to the workspace (23.976 FPS) does not match the project's timeline frame rate..."
I don't get it. I told the stupid program to save it as 25 fps, but it didn't. It saved the video at the very strange 23.976 fps.

Yeah, but my pop up warning box says my timeline project FPS is set at 29.97 even after I set it to 30 FPS to match the 30 FPS clip I've imported.

You edit video but can't figure out how to do a voice over to add narration. This program does that beautifully, fyi.

I've converted a video (which ruined the quality completely) it was originally running at 29 fps so I converted it to 30 fps, it comes out as 35 fps for some reason and half of the footage was missing > :( I was wondering if you had any suggestions for a good video converter that wouldn't do that. Thankfully I've already uploaded this video but I need to use this software in future so I can add on an ending sequence and edit the audio in my videos. (Personally I think this product is overpriced for something that hasn't changed in terms of quality for function since the last time I used it five years ago.)

Yes great if you want 30fps NTSC but if you live in Europe and you need PAL there is no option!
