If Your Absent Parent Reappeared, Would You Accept Their Family?

My father left my mom when she was pregnant with me. He’d been cheating for years, and when my mom tried to divorce him, it was a nightmare. He skipped court for custody and child support, even went to jail three times for dodging payments by quitting jobs.
To this day, I’ve never met him. But about a year ago, he moved back—with his affair partner and their kids. One of his daughters? She's just five months younger than me. We’re even in some classes together.
She tried to reach out. I told her, straight up, I’m not interested. We’re not family. She was upset but didn’t back off. Then, when school started in August, she was suddenly in four of my classes and kept trying to partner with me for projects. I had to ask my teacher to keep us separate to avoid any... well, drama.
But guess what? She found out and told her parents, who then went to the principal, demanding a meeting with me and my mom. My mom went alone and told the principal I shouldn’t meet my “father” just because he wanted to scold me about his daughter. They even claimed I was bullying her and wanted me suspended!
Now, his daughter and son keep staring at me, and her friends say I’m a jerk for not giving her a chance. But am I really the one in the wrong here?

I had somebody just like this but they want family when I was partnering up with somebody else and they got asked who they were partnering up with they said me and I started yelling at them they had to work alone because they lied we didn't have any agreements because the kid I was working with was my best friend and also one of the smartest in my class
