My dad did the West End run of this and i sneaked in on every performance. This was my favourite - i was 9. I went to a very strict RC school and my mother said ‘ you better not go round school singing that’.

This film was brilliant while managing to be creepy and sinister at the same time

I knew nothing about this movie and watched it one rainy evening which cancelled other plans in college. Completely fascinated me then and now.

Joel Grey is the best MC, nothing beats his performance. Wish I was alive to see him on Broadway in this role.

When the first time you hear this song is during a cruise and you’re just like “umm yeah wtf is happening?” It’s catchy but really weird lol.

As a kid I enjoyed the Money Money number as well as this Two Ladies and One Man as well as The Pastoral Song and If You Can See Her plus all the other number. Then I became an adult and the whole movie took a different meaning. With enlightened mind, I felt sad, mad and guilty as none of these numbers were to laugh at. This is still a great musical with a sinister undertone.

Anyone else think the girl with the blue eyeshadow is really pretty?

I played one of the two ladies in our colleges production of this. I must have been so naive as I don't think I had any real idea of the meaning behind this at the time. Not sure if I should be offended by the casting 🤣

It's interesting how the movie version of the song makes it more about the possibility of the main characters going for a polyamorous relationship by adding another man, making it two men and one lady in their scenario; While as I understand it the stage version has it mainly about the two leads becoming roommates

If I were a kid I'd would be crying for my mom if I saw this. Specially since it's dark and I'm home alone lol

I like that they are trying to sing in english as germans... I've read that 4 out of 6 female dancers were actually from West Germany where the film was shot... so maybe these ladies are actually from there...

Why on Earth is not the song complete? Cabaret is from 1972, are you still worried about the copyright? It should be totally free to see a three minutes musical number.
Say more, Cabaret is one of those rare absolute masterpieces that came from Hollywood, it's everybody's duty to see it.
