Join me, Naked Rider Joe, as I tackle my very first DIY oil change on my 2024 Suzuki GSX-8S. With just one month and 600 miles, it’s time to give my bike some TLC. I’m no professional mechanic, and this video proves it! Watch as I navigate the entire process, mistakes and all, showing that anyone can do this with patience and the right tools. Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a newbie, I hope my experience inspires you to try it. I decided not to put the items in the description since some are likely the wrong item. Watch for fun and have a good time.

When you buy Suzuki OEM filter, you can also order the Suzuki filter cap wrench that makes taking the filter off a breeze. Way better than any of those universal filter wrenches. Look up in the manual where the oil change section is and find the part number and give that to a Suzuki dealer to order. Best 27 bucks I’ve ever spent👌

I would use a 3/8" torque wrench with a 6 point socket to Suxuki's torq spec... for the drain plug with a new crush washer...

Oil filters should only be hand tightened. ... how are you liking your 800? Cheers for the video
