Thank you for your videos and thank you This Old House, , have done many projects and many remodels following This Old House series. Given up trying to keep up with trends. Put up natural woodwork, then painted woodwork to be in style, then sanded to be in style, and now painted is back in style.

What was on your caulk tube? How does it work?

Should have done a small hole in the wall first thing. See if there is a vent stack in the way before wasting all that time doing the measuring and marking.

Did they coordinate outfits with the counter?

Load Bearing Structural Medicine Cabinet if the door starts getting harder and harder to open/close.

Do the paint before fastening the cabinet in wall. Great job otherwise.👍

there is a device that can find electrical in a wall so you can check before cutting the hole.

Looks good. Now show one where it isn't the easiest possible way to do it. You know, like what happens in real life sometimes.

The first medicine cabinet was much better than this ‘modern’ one.

Seems like the height was a little arbitrary. Would be best to have the wife see if she could reach the upper shelf while still clearing the faucet area.

The old one was better but it didn't had that much of space like the new one.

They dumbed it down. The old one fit the bathroom better.

Can't tell you how many of these I've done most have vent line and electrical running through so I usually demo out the Sheetrock floor to ceiling and added GFCI receptacles usually most of the homes were over forty years old

Now the only thing missing was a reclining toilet

I liked the original one better. This modern one looks like hot trash and does not fit the feel of the door or the house i bet. yuck.

Cutting those older studs with the oscillating tool is great idea but instead of using a chisel for ripping those studs, you could have simply turned the blade sideways on the oscillating tool to make your rips. Using the oscillating tool is way easier than a chisel and you would have ended up with cleaner rips.
Funny that you didn't show the part where you had to cut your studs a second time an inch and a half above and below you R.O., so you could place your sill and header below and up above your opening in the correct spot...😂😂😂
People are going to follow your directions and wonder why theirs isn't the same as yours.
