Appears that hole might have been a little to big for that light.

I’m surprised that light didn’t go straight into the ceiling that hole was close ! Good job though

The fitting instructions should specify the diameter of the hole required. The silicone gasket and spring clips won’t work effectively if the hole is oversized as it is here.
