Great vid. It's ideal to carry a mag on the strong side in case of support side injury or if you (for whatever reason) have to grab a shield.

I had a padded belt but switched to a double belt system and will never go back. For me the padded belt was a lot harder to balance and was constantly shifting, where the double belt always felt secure and everything stayed where I wanted it to.

I know it's the last thing that should matter but, I'm not a fan of the look of the mag pouches themselves. My loss though cuz I'll probably end up going with something that costs more. That being said, pretty sure I'm sold on the blue alpha double belt system. Also considering the raptor tactical mk III double belt system. Not sure if it's worth saving $40 to go with one system over another. Excellent info and detail review. Thnk you!

I really enjoyed your informative video, and would also like to thank you for your service.

Personally I prefer the old school MOLLE webbing systems over the laser cut systems. I just don't have much confidence in the laser cut's ability to last long term and I have even less confidence in it's ability to retain heavier gear. I have both on some of my carriers and at least in my experience, the laser cut systems seem to stretch over time and seem to be more likely to fray. Do you have any recommendations for "old school" MOLLE cummerbund padded belt systems? I have some that are doing fine for me but I'm looking for another one that's easier to adjust around my waist depending on how many layers of clothing I'm wearing. Currently, I have one set up for warmer weather, and another set up for winter conditions. I also need a belt that can adjust down to 30" or maybe even less.

When did you buy your Wilder belt pad? I bought my minimalist (non-wide) in Aug 2019 and it has several inner Velcro loops that can be attached to an inner belt.

Correct me if I am wrong, but a double belt system will not work if you are wearing ACUs, MultiCams. If you shirt hangs over you belt line, how well will that double belt system work.

To me my hsgi has given me more problem then my Viking tactical double belt in my opinion

Padded belt FTW try My God what are those double belts and the middle of the night in your boxers hand or naked not gonna happen in without the secondary bell everything slides and moves around ridiculous Li padded belt through the wind depending on mission
