I did not like "The Popes Exorcist" but "Nefarius" without the cgi and the big budget managed to shine in todays mediocrity.

The evil one does not want you to see this movie! Don't even look at the trailer. It is NOT a horror flick. It is NOT scary. It is suspenseful and powerful. The purpose is NOT to titillate.... NOT to entertain. It feels more like a movie that is catechizing (teaching) us about how the evil one lies and tricks us! Everyone needs to see this movie. At least once!

The intellect of the demon terrifies me far more than vomit and head spinning. The sheer anguish of the person possessed has not been touched on in this way, ever. BEST demon movie, EVER in my so humble opinion.

I like the part when James was proud of how developed society is and the demon was ecstatic about James praising evil without realizing. That’s this generation.

Just watched the Nefarious movie and I was not expecting it to be an emotional roller coaster. The actors were incredible! The actor playing Edward definitely deserved to be nominated for an Oscar. His acting was phenomenal. I read the book before watching the movie and it was just as gut-wrenching.

Let me start by saying I'm a Protestant and devotee of Sola Scriptura. That said, I make a point to listen to podcasts where Catholic exorcists are "talking shop" about exorcism in general, and their cases in particular. To that end, I'd like to thank Fr Martins for reviewing Nefarious. Based on his review, I immediately went to Amazon and bought a copy. It arrived today, and I look forward to watching it this week.

Finally, thank you for hosting exorcists like Fr Martins. When discussing the demonic, they are speaking from hands-on _experience_ and which too many Protestant denominations sadly lack.
