Pope's Exorcist is not a horror movie, and if you're going into this with a mindset of it not being a horror movie, you'll enjoy it. Story is well put together, and Russell Crowe's acting is absolutely top class. I enjoyed every bit of it.

I was diagnosed with Young Man’s dementia, voices spoke to me every day, nightmares every night. Sometimes they would appear to scare me. On two occasions they appeared to me as God, would give me visions of God not wanting me. I couldn’t sleep and my wife, girlfriend at the time, almost broke up with me because I kept forgetting conversations we would have. And This all happened after I became a Christian. Before life was much easier. The more I tried to follow or wanted Jesus, the worse it would get.

Thankfully, a man at my church was recommended to me by my church leaders, he specialized in deliverance. It was simply him praying for me. Wasn’t a big show. It lasted 3 hours, but ultimately was freed. I left that room and could no longer sense demons around me, no longer hear voices, and could remember everything. My girlfriend became my wife and now have 1 kid together. Jesus has been so kind to me, he quite literally pulled me out of hell.

Watched it last week and whilst it won’t win any major accolades with critics or reviewers, I really enjoyed it for what it was.

I went and saw this movie last night night on opening day. It met, and exceeded my expectations. I have read most of Gabriel Amorth's books (Eng), and while I'm aware that a great deal of this movie was fictionalized, it was still an excellent film. Russell Crowe absolutely did this movie, in the memory of Father Gabriel justice.

When I was a correction officer . I could clearly tell one man was under demonic possession. His eyes would change, and it seemed like the sun light would divert around him leaving him in a tint fog shadow in the texas sun. Honestly I always felt the man used mental health as a excuse but it seem like when I would pray. For him without telling him he'd make a way to be very verbally aggressive to me. One time I came up quietly to his tank while the others where in rec. He was in darkness to back close to the restroom he had the mop in one hand standing looking up to the ceiling talking. I asked God to cast the evils out of him in my mind and the man turned so quickly it was abnormal. He started asking in this voice that wasn't quite regular for him ..his eyes would change different colors of dark shades . All this while slamming the water bucket and trying to stab me with the mop through the tray slot. He couldn't reach me. I leaned in and said to him in a clam voice that I knew that he wasn't of God . He got still . Then said he believed in God. I told him no he didn't . He looked at me that scared me becausei felt like he could see throughskin . See my soul. An just like that like the normal mentally sick man came back . He looked at the mop in the tray like he didn't remember it. Took it out an started moping, then started to whistle. It was then that I felt safe to walk away. The other inmates feared him. I aske watch made them afraid. They wanted to read scripture an he would bother them and at night they couldn't sleep because he would walk and stare into nothing.

Wow! After defeating the Germans, Commodus, the Sheriff of Nottingham, Tubal Cain, heavyweight champion Max Baer, the American gangster Frank Lucas, and Napoleon's navy, now Russell Crowe has even fought and defeated the devil in person! Quite remarkable.

I’ve always believed and carried my faith close to my heart, but learned many times when I was on the brink of death that Gods Presence was with me, I’ve had 3 life changing experiences in my life and one of them was receiving the blessing to save my son from drowning in the Ocean. It occurred at a beach famous to surfers and known for 30-50 waves, I remember that day vividly, the rays of the sun where quickly disappearing, the waves were growing intensely and my son had been swepted up and taken out to see 80-100 ft in a blink of an eye, I knew my chance of finding him and some how making it back were low but at that moment I just couldn’t stand the idea of him dying alone so I ran into the water and began swimming as hard as ever, it felt like being tumbled in a washing machine and I was quickly heading out to sea but was unable to oriente myself and couldn’t breathe, this pain and suffering lasted for what felt like an eternity and at the last second I told God to take me and my son if it was our time and his will. I surrendered my life to God. I prayed for forgiveness and peace. This story is a long one but all I can say is me and my son are still here to speak about this miracle. I know horrible things happen around the world Everyday but remember that there are far more miracles that surround our lives if we view the wiles through our faith. God is real, God is powerful and loving and all I can say is I felt his strength when I needed to push on to pull my son out of that water. Faith, real faith is be beyond powerful. God bless ❤❤

The exaggerations are part of the movie, not of the story, for me the meaning was to understand the philosophy of an exorcist, and how far he can go to help people. I think they have succeeded very well in their intent.

Not gonna lie it was pretty good but honestly there was some exaggerated parts.
The original exorcist was more demonic than this one seemed like an action movie
