5 minute knee strengthening exercises routine to fix knee pain in mature women | Exercise over 50! If you are experiencing knee pain as you're getting older, it can affect your whole quality of life... We are able to make our knees stronger by working the muscles in our hips, our thighs and our calves... all the muscles that connect to the knee... and if these muscles strong, they take the pressure off the knee joints so that the pain is reduced and your mobility is increased.

If you have knee pain you're not alone... In fact two thirds of women over the age of 50 are experiencing some form of knee pain... Do this knee strengthening routine and knee stretches, five days a week to really help your knee pain, and when your knees are feeling better you can reduce the frequency to 2 times a week.

I'm a 61 year old man and I do your 5min and 10min knee strenghten exercises daily. It works 100%. I do both in the morning and before going to bed. Sleep like a baby with less knee pain. Appreciate your knowledge and help.❤

Had been ignoring the stretching exercises for awhile, while doing others. Hadn't realized what I was missing. Joint aches have been an issue and doing exercise today helped open me up. Not only that, your words of mindful encouragement and support are always welcome, especially in these troubled times. I am always grateful for you!

I am 56 and had knee pain that prevented me from kneeling onto the prayer mat (I am Muslim). After starting on this exercise about 6 weeks ago and following your advise to do this 5x a week, my knee feels a lot stronger. The pain is practically gone! Thank you, Schellea, for this video. I never exercised no fire I saw your workouts, I started with the 10 minute arm exercises, and then followed up with the 30 minute walking workout. I did these for about 4 weeks, and then I saw your 14 day challenge. I am 61 years old and I just finished it in 14 days; not to say I didn't sweat like a horse! My Grandma used to tell me, "women don't sweat, they glow" I said, " Well then I'm glowing like a horse". Thank you for making all these videos that women my age can do, all the others are kind of intimidating. Also thank you for your positive words! Margaret

Great routine. Has really helped me with knee problems. Bit frustrating that adverts kick in half way through the routine so you have to stop and click ‘skip’.

Thank you so much for the above! I am now doing these 5 minute exercises and have noticed a huge difference in the past few months--no pain unless I skip your exercises and it is back again. I'm 69 and trying to avoid any knee surgery if it can be avoided. So far, so good. On to the ab workout. Thank you for offering many alternatives to our workouts. :)

Hi I'm loving these exercises. I have arthritic knees so it's quite difficult for me but I managed half of them this first time. I plan to do them every day. Thank you!! you are doing a fantastic job for ladies over 50 and indeed over 65 as I am but in my head I'm just 20 😃xx

Hi. I’m Minakshi from Dubai, 55 yrs old. I have been following your videos from 2019 and find all your excercises very helpful but special mention to this one. Whenever I have slight knee pain I do this for 5 days and I’m absolutely fine . Even today I did this after a long as I was experiencing sever pain in the knee for past couple of days and sure enough by afternoon only I’m feeling so much relieved . Thank you so much ❤

Thanks for this helpful video. An extra suggestion about calf raises from a trainer I once worked with : on the first set, keep your feet pointing straight ahead and do your raises as in your video, for the second set, angle your feet slightly outwards and do the raises again, and for final set do your raises with feet angled slightly inwards. Doing it like that works all different areas of the calf and is extremely effective for strengthening the entire calf. Cheers
